Your Opinion Is Needed! Ok, so right now I drive a '97 Trans Am with 85,xxx miles. It's an A4. Well I've been wanting a LS1 M6, and while I was at this lot yesterday, they had a 2000 WS6 Trans Am with 105xxx miles on it for $5900. I already did a carfax and there is absolutely nothing wrong with the car. The only thing I could spot wrong with it is a differential leak, the tires are shot, and there are some small rock chips on the passenger door. It's black with black leather. The interior is virtually perfect. Do you think I should buy it? Is 105k to much for the engine and tranny? This would be my DD. Thanks for your input!
Before you run it check the coolant, oil, tranny fluid, PS fluid, ect ect.
Run it drive it whatever, get it warm enough that the fans come on, check for leaks, check fluids again.
This will give you a good indication on the motor and tranny.
Listen for noises why you are driving it, try everything out, power seat if it has one, radio, ect ect.

Long test drive... Listen to all the squeaks/rattles.... Make sure you put it through its paces... Make sure you check the oil, trans fluid... Hell if you got a mechanic with a bore scope, you can even pull a plug and check the cylinder walls... This is becoming more popular now that they have all the nifty little camara snakes.
