4x4 ext cab ranger
4x4 ext cab ranger I have a 1987 ranger ext cab 4x4, first gear pops out a lot and it has trouble with warm starts. im tired of fooling with it anyone have any idea how much a junkyard will give me for it? It will drive there wont need towed or anything. any input will help i just want rid of it. thanks
take it to an off road park first and beat the **** out of it till it won't drive anymore then scrap it. i did that this summer to and s10 i bought from a guy at work for $200. fixed a couple small things on it to make the 4x4 work then took it to the badlands offroad park and had TONS of fun jumpin it and what not. then i scrapped it and got $420 for it!!! i basically broke even on the deal but i had soo much fun.
thats what i was thinkin bout doin but dam scrap prices droped so much ide only get like 200 for it. im waiting for a salvage yard to call me back now hopefully theyll give me at least 400 for it. i only have 550 in it.

ide probably just ask 500 for it, i decided i might just keep it and put a little work into it though. even though i got pulled over in it yesterday for fishtailing through some mud on the road how ridiculous
