Can't blame the cops, burn outs on a public road with a ton of people standing on either side of the road.....

Remember the Pro Mod car that did that in Vegas and killed a few people?

Very true well they could show up and make sure people stay outta the way to make it safe and still be fun for everyone you know compromise a little bit.

Still illegal though and people standing around with no baracades and all is still dangerous.

Private track rental is a good idea, everone chip in to pay for the added cost and there you go.

It's too bad they can't suggest the open house as a block party or such. I know it's a village street and they might not be able to close it because it's an industrial road, but every year they close down my street in my neighborhood and throw down a huge block party. The cops are usually there and it keeps everyone from getting too crazy.

I know they have that westchester car show where they have everyone just line up and do burnouts for like 2 hours. Maybe something could be worked out with the village.

Thats a good idea. Have them come and supervise, even have a paramedic available. I'm sure not too many would turn down spending a few hours at work...at Speed Inc.! Only problem I could see is other businesses around there not being able to get through.

they stopped doing the burnouts in westchester when that dragster went into the crowd in it was either kentucky or tennessee. when it hit and killed like 7 people. also when that monster truck lost control and hit a grandma and her granddaughter.
the people doing burnouts at that show started to get out of hand. one guy tried to outdo the guy before him and took his car sideways, and while he was facing the crowd continued to burnout.

Bringing this one back to the top, see if Speedinc has though about it yet or not. Reason I ask so soon is cause I want to have everything planned for my buddies and I. We just can't all get off on the same weekend and go.
