gear or stall
gear or stall I want thaughts on a rear gear for a A4 has a 3.23 thinking of 3.73 or 3.90 or a stall? The gear is a lot cheaper installed only are $500 for everything. The stall is going to be well over a $1200, I heard the gear gives the best bang for the buck? What do you think?
I say do both, a 3600 stall and 3.73 gear combo is killer. I would do the stall first and then the gears, but save up and get a 12 bolt. By the time you build you 10 bolt, then break it, there goes your money you could have saved for the 12. Take your time and build a strong drivetrain that will last.
I did gears first(12 bolt) went from 12.9 to a 12.6, then did a 2800 stall, 12.2.
