Rear end Girdle?
Rear end Girdle? Im replacing my gears and bearings and everything brand new. Can someone give me some insight on this aluminum girdle? Is it worth the money? I dont have money for a 12 bolt or 9"inch but they say this things helps ALOT. Thxs

fwiw i put many (100+) 1.60-1.64 60' passes on the stock rear with a girdle - had strange 373s in it, a4 with 4k stall, 3600lb rw.
i think it's a waste on stick cars, but i think the autotragics can benefit.

Probably better to replace the factory bearing cap bolts with ARP studs but I did both and it's still in one piece. I ran the same set-up in the L98 with 100's of 1.6-1.7 60 ft. and never a problem.
