New To Chicago I just finished boot camp and all that now Im ready to get my car up here. Im a few days away from buying a 94 Z. Im originally from Dallas so Im not new to the scene at all even though im only 19. We keep it live down there all week long. And I already know driving an LT1 Ill be waaaaaaaaaaaay at the bottom up here all over again but its all good.
Was wondering where all the car meets, shops, racing, and cruise spots were up here?
Im going to put Pacesetter long tubes, a O/R Y, and a Borla XR-1 muffler on the car as the first mods. Would also know who can help me put these on since being in the Navy I have nowhere to put tools on base. They wont let me keep a 2 ton jack in my room lol.

you can check out thechicagogarage.com for shows and stuff, speedinc. from what i see on hear has a real good rep , the car show scene really doesnt start jumpin around here until june, if your close to cicero/berwyn area there car cruise night in berwyn north riverside tuesday and thursday nights
