Help!!!
Help!!! Is there anyone here in Illinois that have upgraded to the ls6 intake (plus or minus cutouts) that have gone thru the emmisions test and passed? If so....how? What do they look for?

Here's how the current emissions test goes.
You pull up, they check your gascap for proper seal. They then check and make sure your SES light is working by turning off the car, turning it back on and making sure it lights up(usually 5-7 seconds). They then plug into your OBD-II port to make sure your computer is in full "READY" mode and no codes are being thrown.
As long as your check engine light is not on, you have no problem! IL does not do visual inspection.
