Default fabbing 9" for Fbody

just curious, does anyone know what it takes to fab up a ford 9" to fit under a fourth gen? does the width need modified any? what brackets do you use? anything else?

well depends on what the 9" is out of of for one... you do know they make these directly for your car right?

yea you will prolly have close to that fabbing one up yourself though so either way you look at it you will have a decent amount in it

Buying used 9" stuff is good and bad. Make sure you price out the cost of the torque arm bracket, yoke, pinion nut etc.

I just bought my old 9" back from the guy I sold my Formula too, and I paid up a bit for the (used) stuff since I was the last one to make passes on it.

I've see used center sections with yoke, no torque arm bracket for as cheap as $450, and as much as $800.
