Fun things to do around Illinois?
Fun things to do around Illinois? so my fraternity does "brotherhood events" or just things where its just the guys in the house having a good time. We were thinking about doing a brotherhood event at the Jerry Springer show but when i was looking into it, it turns out they moved to CT 13 hours away. so i was wondering what other things can we do around illinois, we dont mind driving a few hours and we just want something fun to do.

what kinda things are you looking to do? just fun events? fundraisers? charity events?
if ur lookin to do a fundraiser or a charity event...talk to six flags. we (kappa psi) got them to let us work for them (in the candy shops, gift shops etc) for salary to raise money for a non-profit charity.
if ur lookin for fun...why not go sky diving or go up north and go camping...
are your buddies into speed sports? find a nice high speed go-karting place that you can rent out and have a little competition within the frat.

Strip club
Bulls game (pay for cheap seats then find nice empty ones to go sit in)
Dave and Busters
Ice Skating by the Bean (if they still have it)
Any kind of cheap concert
Comedy club
Bowling
All I could come up with up the top of my head, stuff I would have fun doing at least.

Go-karting is a good idea...not too long ago I went with some friends to the one in Melrose Park, and it was a lot of fun. I think it was only like 20 bucks to race also (it was a week day, I think they're cheaper on week days)...that included 3 races and all the equipment (helmet, racing suit if you want to wear one lol, etc).
