Need Trans shop advice So uhhh.... anyone know of a good transmission place in SW Ohio? My fourth gear synchro has gone out and I wanna replace the 3-4 synchro, and 3rd and 4th gear themselves. I will buy the parts from Tick.com, but I don't wanna take it to just any shop to get it done.
In most cases from manuals I have seen, when they come apart the trans needs more than just a couple parts. I personally would not patch one of these units to only have to go back into it in the near future. Local guy or not, if you don't have the job done right the first time around, don't go pointing fingers when it breaks.

Well, if I were to supply the parts myself, how much do you think it would cost? I'm trying not to go completely crazy right now. I'm moving into a new place with my fiancee tomorrow, and need to save as much as possible... That's the only reason I'm looking for a "patch".
