Any Engineers in the UP of MI?

Any Engineers in the UP of MI? Thinking about making a move to the UP of Michigan...either side of the bridge, but would like to stay in that general area.
Is there anything up there?

Pettibone Traverse Lift in Baraga MI might be a decent company to apply to.
There is industry up there, it's just much harder to find than down state. Do some research, you'll find manufacturing and mining companies. And with those, they always need some type of engineer.

I used to work in Mancelona and East Jordan about 10yrs ago. There are companies up there but definitely smaller and not as many as there used to be. Run some searches and see what you can come up with. Good luck.
It is pretty up there. Used to be awesome for snow as well. The winter I lived there we got over 20' of snow total. I was skiing so much (nights & weekends) I broke all of my gear.
I know the snowfall has been less in recent years.

Are you still up that way? I'm curious about how much snow the Mackinaw City, St. Ignace area gets...and if there is any industry in that area, or just all tourists
