Ive gotten 6 or so tinted windows tickets in the last 3 years but my last one which was a week ago they finally measured the density and it came out at 16%. He said they have a 5% tolerence so 30% would be ok. The windows were tinted when I got the car. Also it was a 120$ ticket whereas the last ones were 75$
