"HELP"around waynesville,mo is there someone on here that is near the waynesville,mo area that know alot about the 00 firebird ws6 ls1 just bourght it and alot of trouble with it and need someone to look at it, to see they might some idea whats wrong with it. it runs and drives but when you start it up the idle will shot up to 2000rpms for about 10 to 40 sec and then back down, it will do it when you come to a stop light too. and when you are driving it and start to drive down the road its let it bogs down you can have your foot halfway down on the gas and will not go very fast then it will kick in its like a power band kicks in then it will drive.
take it to First capitol PUR performance its off of 70 and cave springs they do really good work, i do my own work on my 99 ws6 but im not to sure about ur car im new to alot of this and learnin as i go ...but PUR would be the place to go to get professional help

i just relpaced the IAC,and the TPS, on the mods not sure just bought froma dealer about 2 weeks ago all i had them do is fix the exhust it has long tube headers then straight pipe back to the muffler no cats on it. sounds like it has diff cam it but not sure what the other owner has done to it.
