warning to all IL speeders
The front plate law is pretty stupid. It seems to me it is there so they have a nice target to aim for when using laser.
If you are speeding and have a whole bunch of equipment violations you are asking for trouble.
If a ride looks like it is about to fall apart and the owner neglects basic repairs to stay roadworthy, I would question how well the owner maintains more important areas. Are the tires, brakes working proper?, is it going to to spew oil all over the road? Certain things may become a hazard to others so I am all for loading someone up with warnings/equipment violations if the ride is in a state of dis-repair.
If the ride is built properly and well maintained you won't have to worry about equipment violations.

yea this was out in dekalb, i hate driving around here. if im in my firebird i just get out of dekalb as fast as possible to avoid problem. Naperville cops dont care.

It all depends on the are seems lik dekalb has nothing to do . And the state troopers mess with who they want to depending on the day. It funny how i can be in my daily driver and get pulled over for sum bs Then i can get in my truck and get pulled over just for a routine check lol.
