Wisconsin Dells Automotion 2011 - May 20-22

So who is all going, and where are you staying? I'll be there in my LSx '69 C-10, and my brother will have his Grand National there. We are staying at the Flamingo.

There was some discussion in this thread, about Automotion, but I figured I'd start an official Automotion 2011 thread.

As always, once the cruising slows down, my crew will be heading to Marleys :pimp: :D

I look forward to this weekend every year...can't wait.

ill be there with my z28 and we'll be staying at holiday shores campground.

ive been up there for the past few years and last year we found out that Edge O' Dells bar was allowing burnouts in the parking lot for anybody and everybody...here is a video from last year:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gylxc...eature=related

and that was just the beginning. this all went down saturday night after the show's "burnout contest" at the raceway.
no matter what though i think an LS meet up is a necessity at some point.

Compressor Surge 04-08-2011 11:23 AM

Haha awesome video!!! I've been going to Automotion for the past 12 years or so, and never knew about the burnouts at edge o dells.....badass!

thegodfather899 04-08-2011 11:50 AM

yea it was sick. last year must have been the first year they did it cuz ive never seen/heard of it either

This is a very wise statement. I heard about all these wonderful shenanigans AFTER last year. I guess there were more than a few cops on the street P.O.'d that they couldn't bust anyone for it was on private property.

I'm definitely on board with an LS meet somewhere. I know the 3Si.org dorks meet at Pizza Pub for lunch on Saturday. Maybe we could do something similar....and bring some muscle to pizza pub.

Another option might be finding a parking lot or something to hang at on Saturday afternoon / night. The parking lot by the trojan horse is always a popular spot, and there's tons of room.

Thoughts?

I will be up there with my 02 Black TA. Staying at the Monaco. been going for years.

I was thinking the exact same spot. By the trojan horse. There is always a lot of room, and you cant miss the spot with that huge a$$ horse.

We will probably be staying at the Hilton.
And this year hoping to hit up Marley's on Friday Night, and probably again on Sat. night after the racing.

Everybody is usually packing up or heading out. The real action is Saturday afternoon from about 2pm to 2 am Sunday morning

thegodfather899 04-09-2011 10:49 PM
