Hazel Crest Area So I am looking at a house in hazlecrest this week and was wondering if anyone had input on the area. The place is located about 1 mile from the main hospital. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
From my reserch, the holdup is schooling. Don't want my little girl to be in with a bunch of hoods. The backyard would fill up pretty fast. And a 50lb bag of lime only covers up so much stench.
The house looked nice, the neighborhood looks decent, but unless your kid is in the flossmoor or homewood school district, your pretty much screwed. Ugh, the hunt continues.

Keep on looking man. Are you set on a certain area or certain town/city? There are literally a SHITLOAD of houses on the market and they are at STEAL prices right now. My buddy is also looking for houses as well. See if you can get listings sent to you from MLS or try and get on their site and search. Definitely the best for researching things online.
