I'm a newbie looking for help on the 4l6o-e tranny. Does anyone know how this tranny "kicks down into a passing gear". It's in a 1996 chev k-1500. This year does not have a kick-down cable, so i'm guessing it may be linked to a solenoid. Any help would really be appreciated. Thnx, mike

if you have not posted this in the automatic transmision section.......you should think about it if your in a hurry for a answer?

you will probably get a faster response there.

good luck!

shooting one of the sponsors a message would help a bit too.
