Default Emissions test coming

Does anyone know if there's any way to pass an emissions test (mines coming later in June) without the cat's? I also have many other modifications done to the car and I was wondering if I would just be wasting my time even going in there. Please Help?!?!?!

I've talked to a few people who tuned the trouble code for the cats completely out of the computer.

I also had another guy tell me about this thing called a defouler. It tricks the O2s into thinking the cat is still there somehow.

When I lived in Missouri and had a jeep without any exhaust the trick was driving around and finding a shop that didn't care that your vehicle doesn't have cats. I lived in Missouri for only 2 years and have always lived in Illinois all the other time of my life. Good thing is there is no emission testing here in central Illinois so I'm glad I don't have to worry about that.

I just had my car tested in lake county and passed, no cats, long tubes with true duals , and its got a cam. I do have rear 02 simulators and the car has no codes, they just did the obdii test .

I think that's the key in passing- no current codes and no stored codes.

If is all they do is plug it in to a computer your fine as long as you check engine light is off. I have the mods in my sig and pulled in to the emissions testing station and filled it with the smell of gas and left with the paper that said passed.

A search will reveal a lot of info on this topic. I know I have outlined it in detail in the past.
