Default Getting Around Emissions Test with Headers?

Like the title says I was wondering how to pass emissions testing when I end up getting headers and ORY. I live in Lake County (sadly) where they actually have testing but it's just the computer, no sniffer or visual. I was planning on getting this set up http://www.speedengineeringlsx.com/s...ersion-25-1011 I'm not sure what codes it will throw and what exactly those computers test for.

I have headers with an x pipe and went thru emissions in lake county but in illinois and it's the computer test , so be sure to get rear 02 simulators and you should have no codes.

I am a Lake County (IN) guy too and just read the testing procedures today in trying to figure out if a heavily modified pre-OBD2 car (a '95) I was looking at buying could pass emissions. Those 81-95 cars get visual inspection and sniffer on the rollers (I/M 93 test) and the 96 and later just get the codes pulled via OBD2 port--no visual from what I can tell. Look at item G here for what they test for:

Please keep us updated on how this works out--I am trying to get my arms around this too--would suck to buy a car that will not pass emissions! What really sucks is you have to go pre-1976 to be exempt from testing. Maybe time for a LS1 swap classic muscle car for me....

I tested my car in IL with open headers and a base tune with no check engine lights and i passed. It's all about the tune.
