Engine machine shop

I am looking for a good machine shop around the Joliet IL area.
I am debating either having new rings and bearings put in my LS1 or getting a short block from Thompsons. So I want to weight all my options and for that I need a good shop around me to quote out the work. If you anyone know of a good place let me know. Thanks
