I am looking for recommendations for a shop specializing in LS1 work in the midwest region. I used Speed Inc a few years back for my rear end work and had mixed reviews. I am in Cedar Rapids, IA so I would like to find something within a 3-4 hour drive. I have seen some decent reviews of Straightline Performance in Joliet. Any other suggestions from the Fbody/vette crowd in the area or is SI probably the best option?

I am considering some engine work and need to get some insight from a knowledgeable shop.

I'm pretty sure ws6 store/rpm speed in Norwalk IA does installs. Might be worth a call.

Anyone have experience with WS6store doing installs? All the reviews I find pertain to their parts store, and their website primarily focuses on parts retailing. If they have a good rep for Fbody service, it is less than a 2 hour drive for me, and could be a good option.
