If you have a 00 Camaro then absolutly. Make sure your car is tuned and is not blowing any codes. They pull your car in and plug it up to the computer and if you blow certain codes you fail. I just passed emmision the other day and have a cam and my o2 sensors are shut off through the computer so when i do longtubes and no cats i dont need a retune but will probably squeeze some more out of a tune anyways.

IL is OBD scan only for '96 and up cars. No SES, no stored codes, all OBD readiness tests complete, you pass. Just have to get tuning to defeat any codes set by mods.

My '00 WS6 had no issue passing with ORY and cam in 3/04.

I also easily passed. They made me a litte nervous when they were walking around peeking under my car. As long as you have no ses lights you should be fine.
