Default Sub-Frame Install around Ann Arbor

Anyone know where a good place to have sub-frames installed around Ann Arbor is? I plan on doing them myself if I find out it's okay to tac-weld them in place while the car is jacked up and then drop it down to finish welding them in. But if I can find somewhere cheap to put them in I might just have them do it. I called Liverniois and they told me $150 but I won't spend that much. Anyone know anyplace else that will do it cheaper?

You won't spend $150? That's a great price. Miles, their welder, is world class. You won't get a job done better...anywhere.

Cheap = well...cheap.

Good luck.

I didn't know how much it should cost was the problem, hadn't looked into what iinstalls would cost before. I won't pay $150 because the friend of mine that would do it for me has around 20 years of welding experience. I was just trying to find out a price so I wouldn't have to wait until May to put them on.

You know that SFC's have to be installed on a lift with the suspension loaded right?

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out away to load the suspension while we're doing it. We'll probably end up jacking it up and then letting the car back down onto 4 ramps, that way the suspension will be loaded and we'll have clearance. I would just do it on the ground but there wouldn't be room to get underneath it.
