If I ever leave IL, it will be for a place with less or no snow.

I had to drive to work this morning on the donut cause one of my tires went flat overnight.

Car still handled it pretty well.

snow? Bring it!!! detuned grand prix on 4 blizzaks....

though... my drive to work is only about 1.5 foot ... (roll outta bed into my office chair )

I only had 1 time where I got caught in the snow in my TA ... (heads/cam at that time on kuhmos) and that was enough to make me never drive it again to work if there was going to be any chance of snow....

The formula is diggin the winter already, as soon as it gets above freezing I gotta get her washed, it just kills me to see that salt all over it...

At least I got the blizzaks on and 100 pounds of salt in the trunk so I guess I'm ready for the snow

Luna....those pics above make me wanna

Seriously, get a beater. That's a beautiful bird you've got, it's just not right to expose it to all that salt...

If you don't have the cash for a nice year round daily driver, you can get beaters for as little as $800 that will run fine for at least a winter. They won't be pretty, or fun, but they are worth it when you have a nice F-body like that to protect.

I know it really makes me sad too but I just dont have the cash this winter for a beater. This should be the last winter it ever sees. I have done my best to protect it though, It has countless coats of wax on it, the undercarriage has been sprayed with rubberizer to protect from the snow and salt. I have Blizzak WS-50s on all 4 wheels and 100 pounds of salt in the back.

Shortly after taking those pictures yesterday I took the car to get washed and spent most of the rest of the day waxing it in the garage.... she really needed some lovin

So how's the snow now? Freezing rain is falling in spots right now here in Central Indiana, and were supposed to get 2-4" tonight/early tomorrow.

The concrete blocks went into the back of the truck tonight for the sake of traction

Well we have a good coating of snow up here and they are calling for 1-3 inches tonight. No need for the blocks in the truck, I just throw it into 4HI and go.
