A couple years back my dad was driving his red 98 SS with an SS plate on the front. a palos hills cop was driving in the opposite direction and pulled him over just for that and wrote him a ticket. He put the plate on the front and took a pic. we went to court (Bridgeview) showed the judge the pic and it got thrown out. easy as that.
