I-39 Raceway
I-39 Raceway Anybody have the latest news on how the I-39 Raceway in Minonk, IL is going? The project was slated to be done by this summer but that was too much wishful thinking. I've driven by where I think it's going to be built, but I've not seen any ground broken or work being made at all. Anyone got the latest gossip on it?
I managed to find an email address of one of the guys in the know. He said currently they are stalled, working with the council on the Development Agreement. Sounds like this could be a long process.

One Of The Board Members Of The City Of Minonk Was In My Office Today...he Said That The Problem Was In The Paper Work, Specifically Something About A Tax Incremental Funding Deal. Major Long Time To Work It Out. He Did Not Mention Anything About Anyone Backing Out.
