We're looking for a calibration engineer to work in Southeast Michigan for a big three OEM on site in their high performance group. The position is "contract" however, it is for long-term indefinite duration, and good employees often are invited to become "direct" employees.
REQUIRED:
- Working knowledge of IBOX INCA and PowerCal.
- Proven ability to read and direct the generation of code.
- Fundamental drivetrain dynamic principles and strong ability to evaluate vehicles and direct development.
- Aftermarket "tuner " high-performance and/or racing product or service sector background.
- Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills are required.
- Must be proficient with Excel
Optional Skills:
- Transmission calibration experience.
- Experience in the EO # petition submission process.
- FEA analysis familiarity.
- Familiarity with CATIA a plus.
