Default Norwalk now NHRA

so whata you guys feel about Norwalk Raceway going to NHRA? The newspaper said there will be a multimillion dollar expansion.

I'm not looking forward to it because I'm afraid they are going to clamp down on the rules now. Plus I know NHRA has tighter rules than IHRA.

ready, set, debate

They're switching to NHRA for 2007. They were IHRA as of the end of August 2006 because they ran and IHRA event there. I was watching it on Speed yesterday.

The NHRA is moving the Pontiac-sponsored national event from their Columbus, OH track (National Trail Raceway) to the Norwalk, OH track for 2007. The Columbus track will just run NHRA divisional and local events beginning next year. My theory is they want to control more of the tracks and prevent fewer IHRA events (since the Columbus track is one of the 7 facilities owned by the NHRA).
