41 was open today,50 maybe 60 cars at the most.It was hooking good too,no new best but ran a few 11.60 passes.I didnt feel like pulling all of the weight out, just the pass seat so i could fit my slicks in the car.Not many f-body there today!

I ran at 41 today, no new bests though. Hooked good but at around 1:30 they were down to one lane due to some oil spillage. Very stiff headwind and not too many cars.

Do you have a pewter Formy? If so you were right in front of me on my first run. I always thought your car was black.

I was at 41 today as well trying for the 11's with my new cam/90/90 setup. However my clutch doesn't like the new power so I couldn't ever shift quickly into 3rd so my 1/8 et/mph was down but I was pulling a lot harder than I used to on the top end.

saw you there, i believe you were wearing 16" tires in back. also sounded like you had an open cutout. I could only muster a 12.07 so don't feel bad, lol.

Yeah, I borrowed a set of ET streets from a friend because I knew I would spin all day with my street tires. I wasn't aggressive with them though because I'm on the stock rear. I also didn't want to risk breaking something when I couldn't even be effective on the top end.

I actually went today. As said not many cars, didn't notice any numbers over 30 something. We had a 8 second, lo lo 9 second & a 9.40 car. All 3 had aweful 60' times, aborted 1/2 their runs blew the tires off on the line. Too cold, oil puddles spilled all over starting line everytime we made a pass. I saw 2 cars smoking badly, and they sent them anyway. One was the car that blew up in the right lane.

The lights poles finally being gone was great. The rocks everywhere still sucks. I did notice they coated some of the blacktop. But they didn't clean 1st. They coated over the dirt & rocks ? ? ? The weather was awesome it was -200 when we got there, but then with all the oil downs, our 1st passes were at +98, all 3 aborted, spun on the line.

It's putting down 422 at the wheels with the new cam, 90/90 setup and !maf. My old setup, the one in my sig, only put down 377 on the same dyno and I trapped 115 all day long with it. So I know I should be trapping 119ish now with the new setup, but I wasn't accelerating for as much of the run as I had before.

richie also keep in mind his raceweight is about 200lbs lighter than yours. without you in it your ws6 is easily over 3500 (cause mine is just a few lbs lighter) and then the monster behind the wheel

Brent, the headwind was constant and around 15-20mph. Too bad it wasn't the other way around. I've pulled better times in higher DA with no changes to the car.

Where is this track and how late in the year is it open? IRP is shut down for the season and I would really like to get a run in this year. Getting a final tune next week and would really like to see some numbers before she goes to sleep for the winter.
