Cross your fingers
Well, it's been two weeks since my father left for the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He's had tests all this time and I just got the news today he's going for surgery tomarrow at 8am. This will be the secondary surgery to reconnect the colon after he had a colonoscopy earlier this summer. I'm not really that worried because 1. my pop is the tuffest SOB I know and 2. Mayo Clinic is the only hospital I trust for surgery. Saved my life once. Anyway please cross your fingers for D.O.D. (dear ol dad). It just sucks I'm stuck here running the family business alone. At least 7-10 days after the surgery he'll be released to come home and then it's a slow recovery.

Thanks a lot everybody for the comments. The Mayo Clinic pulled through again. The surgery went perfect on my father and now he's in ICU for a couple days. Also, the surgery took a couple hours longer than usual and afterwards the surgeon told my mom he removed a hernia the size of his fist. Two birds, One stone lol. My dad has been sick for a long time without knowing it the first time he had surgery.
Everyone who reads this: if you ever have doubts and want a second opinion about aomething go to the MAYO CLINIC in MINN. I know if I didn't, I wouldn't have my *********.
