If you guys know where Doty road is then there is a place right off of 105th and Torrence called East Side Window Tinting or Vukes Window Tinting.

They are the best in the biz and they are dirt cheap!

For Fbodys they are about 100-125 and for full 4 door cars they are 150.00.

I have had every vehicle I have ever owned there done and never had a problem.

What about tickets? I thought this was illegal in Illinois. Is it?

I used to go to a place called Midco that was on 63rd and cicero. Always did a perfect job, no lines in the back, etc. Little pricey though but worth it in my opinion. They moved somewhere on Harlem.

I know a guy that does a superb job and works very cheap, he works out in the Logan Square area. He did my Lexus GS400 and he is very well know in the Lexus community for his quality work.

Did my 4 door sedan, 15% all around, Lifetime Warranty. $120

Rear window tint is perfectly legal, at any %.

Front-side window tint is illegal, but I think most people don't care. It's not a moving violation, so what's the difference? Just pay the ticket and move on.

Sucks cause most of the time I was required to go to court for them, I dont know why, bunch a BS if you ask me. Other times I had to remove them and go to the police station.

Guess it depends on the town. The guys I know that have gotten tickets for this, it was just an ordinance violation with a small fine. They'd just pay it and move on.

I'm preatty sure you're wrong on the moving violation. I believe as of January 1st. after your 1st ticket for tint, the second is a moving violation. Somone correct me if the officer told me wrong.

But
For the camaro it was $140 for a one piece rear, sides, and the front banner.
For the Z06, it was $110 for the rear & sides.

It's a guy that does it out of his garage actually. He sold his business and kept his lazer cutter. I'd post the name, but for one, no one is going to come down by me to get it done, and two, he wont do regular customers. I could have it done for someone, but its kinda not worth it.

The place in orland is precision glass tinters. Very nice people, never had anything done there but i talked to the guy a few days ago about getting mine done and he was very nice. I just didnt go with them because they will only make the fronts a certain darkness, i wanted mine very dark.

I had midwest on southwest highway just east of ridgeland do mine on saturday. very happy with the results, i have used them in the past and never had a problem.

F*CK Midwest tint!!!!! They did my colorado. First time i had to go back because the pass. side started to peal. Then i had to go back a second time because they cut the tint wrong and had a gap on the bottom edge, so instead of cutting a new piece they FILL IT IN WITH BLACK PAINT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No joke, i had painted on my new '05 truck!!! So i went back and told the owner and he gave me some BS story about high school help blah blah and he will do it himself this time. So i picked up my truck for the 3RD! time and still on the pass. side, he cut the corner on a angle and FILLED IT WITH BLACK PAINT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didnt go back a 4th time, ill just tell everyone NOT!!! to go there unless they want paint on there windows. My mom brought her car to Precision in orland and they do a PIMP job! But i guess there not doing a lot of cars anymore, just business's.

DONT GO TO MIDWEST TINTERS ON SOUTHWEST HIGHWAY!!!!!
