How strict are they about fuel? They going off the fuel gauge mostly? Mine is screwed up and always reads half full which would be a problem if they are wanting it to read 1/4 or less.

isn't a full tank less flammable than a 1/4 tank?

guess i'll be bringing in a 5 gallon gas can on the way to pick it back up, 1/4 tank won't cut it up the trailer and off and into the show and back out....

it's actually 1/8th of a tank they request.....last year all they did was look at my guage....I did siphon the gas out the day before though. someone said they pointed to their temp guage and the guy said ok go ahead...LOL. as for not making it far you can drop the car right at the spot where it will be shown and pick it up there as well. they let you bring the truck and trailer in the building so not far to drive it.

Doesn't look good for the show, I'll know for sure by tomorrow. I want to though, sounds like fun!

just to clarify you tow the car into the building and drop it off at our spot. then you take the truck and trailer to the marshalling lot(other side of lakeshore drive) and the shuttle will bring you back to the building. they want the trucks and trailers out ASAP. one nice thing is it is free to leave your trailer in the marshaling lot all weekend, but you have to pay to park the truck...LOL

i figured that the trailer and truck would be kicked out right away. But it'll be nice to get the car off the trailer directly in the spot. Too bad it still takes a few minutes of run time before I can move the car under its own power, damn carbs.

I would frown upon leaving your vehicles overnight at the marsh place. Ive got word that the security guys have a deal with some car thiefs. Our buddys Flatbed got jacked lastyear.
