Below is a link to the Midwestern Council of Sports Car Club website. On various Saturdays throughout the ( spring - fall ) we auto-x on full blown road courses, 2 Mile lengths, speeds approaching 120 mph. You can join one of the member clubs or just show up. If you join a club the fees are reduced. Last year a Saturday event cost $100 if your a member. ( well worth the adrenaline rush!! ) I'm a member of Salt Creek Sports Car Club, we have some parking lot auto-x which are $25 member $30 non-member. If you wish to race the larger venues you will need an approved helmet and a harness bar with harness at the bare minimum. ( Yes they feel our cars require a harness ) Feel free to ask if you have anymore questions.

speedseekers has helped run our Road America event in the past untill recently. We discovered they were making 10K plus off of each of our events All while the club took all the insurance/liability risk and got very little $ in return to sponser/host additional events.
Our MFBA event is in Elkart Lake WI.(road America) in both the spring and fall. Rumor has it we'll be the first ones to use the track since it's major renovations this winter. We won't know for sure till the time gets closer.

As dumb as it sounds, Windy City Miata Club ( i think thats what they were called) used to have small ones around the area but that was a while ago? Just something to look into?
