Camaro is down and out....bad
Alright so heres the rest of the pics, as you can tell the bearing was the problem. im most likely going to get new 3.73 gears and a new posi unit, knowing that those bearings were in there spinning around every which way.
as for knowing what carrier, i have no idea. im very nub when it comes to rear ends, all i know is that stock was a 3.23, and it broke.

so i was going to finish tear down today, but i cant find my fkin impact gun to take the tires off, and i have to leave for work in a few. so hoping that the axles are ok, does anyone have suggestions on what parts to get for this? or if anyone has the internals? ill be doing a master rebuild, along with a new gearset(3.73) and possibly a new posi unit. my thought on the new posi unit is because all of those bearings were flying around in the case, so one of the gears inside of it might me messed up, i'd rather not spend the extra cash, but i might want to play it safe. any ideas?

Sucks man, I just had this happen to me about a month ago. I live in Frankfort and the car crapped out on me on 90 when I was almost at work in Arlington Heights so you can imagine that made things a little more difficult.
I didn't have the cash or time for a 12 bolt so I ended up going with a stronger carrier...with 4.10s and nittos though I'm already on borrowed time I'm sure
