Finally tore it down......
Finally tore it down...... I took off the valve cover yesterday and found that I was missing a push rod on #6. It was sitting in the cup next to the lifter but but I couldnt get to it. I also found several bent rods aswell. Im playing hell right now working on my car b/c my brother is using the garage b/c hes doing a 4.8L 5spd to 6.0L 6spd in his Silverado so Im stuck in a cubby hole of an area and cant jack up the car to take the Exhaust manifold off 
I tried just taking the head off but them bolts are snugged tight. Do you guys use a cheater bar on them? If I could just get the push rod out of that area id be ok and wouldnt have to pull the head which id prefer 
. I've got pushrods to put back in b/c my brother put a new cam in his 6.0 so im going to use his stockers.

put a pen magnet down and pull it out. you might want to pull the head anyway to check for any other damage. i use a cheater bar, just make sure you don't round off any of the head bolts.
