Engine removal and install...who does it Gathering some information for a friend of mine who has a 97 SS and the engine doesnt have oil pressure and hes convinced its shot and that he needs a new one. Ive tried telling him that it may not be bad but whatever, its his money.
So, he either wants his engine rebuilt or wants to put a new one in. So here are my questions...who in the Chicagoland area would remove his old engine, rebuild his old engine, and then re install the engine? And approximately how much would all of this end up costing him labor wise? Thanks for any and all help.
