Window Tint in Central IL

Alright, Just talked to Matt at Ziebarts, he quoted me 279 for the back hatch and front windows... sound normal or is it a little pricey?
Tried finding Z Tech at anywho.com and all i could come up with was A-Z Automotive. Google search also netted nothing.

I was quoted 209.99 for hatch and side windows 5% at Ziebart in Bloomington. Get a Verizon phone book...coupon for $30 off too! They did the back 3 windows on my Grand National for $179
Heres z tech's number n address. I think they did all mine for like 170 bucks er somthin.

I'll have to call Z Techs and see what they can give me.. Ziebarts does good work but idk about 100 bucks better work. Maybe if i tell Ziebarts what i can get it done for he'll cut me a deal - we'll see how much they want the business.
I'm sure most places will cut you a little bit of a break to get your business. I'm pretty sure I spent between $125-$150 on the back window and the strip on the front when I had mine done 2 years ago too. Seriously, if I were you, I would check into getting the 6" strip on the front windshield no matter where you decide to go. It's legal, really helps on those sunny days, and doesnt look hokey like I thought it might.

ight rot- i'll look into that, thanks for all the help. 1/2 day of school today so i call Z Tech and see what they'll do it for- then get back with ziebarts. i have a verizon phonebook (don't know how recent it is) where are the coupons at?

I talked with matt over the weekend, he came down on his price (although he is still 40 bux more expensive than Z Tech) He's a great guy to work with and i have an appointment tues. I'll let ya kno how they turn out.

They also left my car filthy when they were finished. IIRC, it was something like $230 for all 3 windows. Not too bad....

I used to have side tint on my '96 but the cops on the interstate always gave me warnings then tickets and had to take it off. State cops were picky but the local cops didn't seem to care at all.

no kidding.. i'll have to spot him a 1/4 mile down the road to get them rolled down in time. Talked to some of the guys at Ziebarts, they recommended going 20 on the back 35 in the front. They said if i went with 5 on the back the front would look much darker, so i went with their suggestions.. picking it up this afternoon- we'll see how it turns out.
clarification....I have 5% all around on my Grand National...haven't tinted the Z yet. I've given up on trying to hide the GN from the cops, its old, loud as hell, fast, and in so many ways illegal...I just deal with it and try to play nicely in traffic.
