This station does sell 100 octane, I got some last weekend...

I'll go by the station on 64 & route 47 tomorrow and check-in side with the folks on what it is. I saw another website listing this station as unleaded 105...
Seems like all the rest- Elgin and 59 & butterfield are 25-30 mins away.. I'll burn 2 glas just to get the stuff, however it's needed especially in the summer time.
Thanks

Just went by the station(64 & 47) and the manager stated it was 110 UNLEADED... He said he could not have lead gas or a pump because of the total Sq foot of his station- too small...

it was $5.49 and it did smell and not like regular 93 octane..... It almost has a Mineral oil or very light alcohol smell...

It's been converted to E-85 for some time now. No 100 octane in Oswego at the moment.

I would re-verify that. We meet there when we go to Byron and one guy always fills his fuel jugs there. He says it's 110 Leaded.

to add texture- the manager stated his invoice says 110 unleaded race fuel. He also told me he uses about 4 gals a week in his own Mercedes S430 which I saw park outside. He's been going this for about 2 years and said he has not had any issues with the car- Cat's or O2 sensor.. I asked about the Cats and O2 sensors- I could tell he did not know much about this or that leaded gas affected this parts negatively..
I ask him to get more information from Marathon, and I told him I would call him this week(he gave me his number)....

He also told me his main customers were folks going to Sygamore raceway and putting the race fuel into their cars...

I hope you're right. Would love to put some 110 Unleaded in there instead of buying gas at Byron.

Doesn't sound like he knows much about cars if he's putting 110 octane into what I assume is a stock S430.

I wonder who makes unleaded gas that's 110 (i.e. his supplier)?

I'm calling him again tomorrow or the next day- yes, he does know about cars, but if he's been using it for two years with his stock S430, then it has to be unleaded... He was going to call the supplier and get more info... I don't know of anyone who makes 110 unleaded, only 104 and 105...
