Default will this do it?

a shop said i need to get the computer reprogrammed and on thursday im getting my converter put in... they will be doing a basic tune on the car but is that what i need or is there more involved in the process of reprogramming the computer?

Basic is all you need as far as I know.

ok yeah b/c ill be taking it to speed in and they said that this is what they include in the basic tune

-Desired fan activation temp (for low temp t-stats)
-Torque management removal (a must for LSx automatic cars with aftermarket converter)
-Rear O2 sensor codes deleted (for cat-delete cars)
-Speedo calibration (for gear and tire height changes)
-Desired idle speed (for "lopey" cams)
-Skip shift function delete
-Shift points optimized
-Injector size changes

but im not sure if this is reprogramming the computer

if you have a cam i would do a dyno tune.

Up until a cam change a dyno tune is not needed. Just reflashing and setting A/F and stuff.
