I don't know. I did two races and had them set up in 5 minutes.
The whole idea of the event was to get street racing off the street. If you go there with a 14-19 second car solely to get a couple time slips(why I don't know), then you're an *******.
I'd go further than that. If you're not running 12's or quicker you really shouldn't be out there. I won't even get into all the crotch rockets.
The weekend t&t is cheaper and you can hot lap the **** out of your Kia...And then maybe get that 18.90 pass you've been beating off to and go home and post it in the sig on your Kia tuning forum. And then be commended by the other Kia kids for being able to bust into the 18.90s on motor. Stock shortblock yo.
If you're already going to SCC, it's cheaper to pay to race, get a couple runs in and park your car because you're going to pay $12 to get in anyways.
I thought test & tune was always $25? How much is it on a non-scc day?
Street Car Chaos and No Clock Nationals is for street racing. If you don't like the way street racing works, then don't go. That's like being a Diabetic and going to a cookie eating contest.
It's entertaining and I like the cars. I just shrug off the notion that whining and crying for spots in the staging lanes with a 10 second car makes you a "real racer." Some of the most entertaining cars i've seen down there never got a race and didn't seem to care.
Not everyone sits there and cries like that. A few sundays ago we had that red turbo notch there...We setup a quick $500 race with heyyosteve(white notch, red hood) and beat him. Then we did another $500 race with him, we gave him his race and clipped him again. Than we race him for a grand at the end of the night, hurt the motor, and he won his money back.
The whole negotiation process took maybe 15 minutes for all 3 races.
I just think that if you have a 13+ second car, you shouldn't be at SCC or NCN.
Yeah, I should be there for one of them, just don't know which one. I have lost all of my motivation to make the car faster or even race it now. I am seriously thinking about selling it. I will let you know if I go.
Matt im heading down to rt 41 Wed ,gonna try for a new PB in the cold air, as long as if there open. They are supposed to be back to there old schedule.
Matt, your car looks like it leaves the same way mine does. Like it wants to lift both tires, but only get the driver's side up. I wonder what my car would do with something other than (oem)silly-puddy for bushings...
