Kentucky is inline with Missouri & Kansas......they're in the Midwest, so you're in the Midwest. You're not much lower than Illinois, and they're definitely Midwest.

West huh? Thanks for th map, helped me out, now I know I'm right, do you realize WEST is on the left hand side? and KY is on the RIGHT HAND SIDE which is east! So how about mid eastern? There is no f'n way KY is WEST at ALL!!!!!

I think it depends on what part of Kentucky your from. I live in So. Indiana and work in Louisville, KY and everybody in this area considers KY to be in the midwest. But this could be because people in No. Kentucky don't want to be associated with the bare-foot, inbred hillbillys in So. and Eastern KY. There was an article in the Louisville paper a couple months ago that said Kentucky has more adults that have lost all their natural teeth than any other state in the country.

Let me remind all, that the Southern Ky people that have no teeth are also the only people in the world that bring all of us the corvette we all love. Bowling Green, Ky is the one and only corvette plant and it is southern kentucky.

However I am from Bowling Green kentucky and personally could not care if we are considered midwest, west coast, or east coast. So im with all that think this argument is a waste of time

Well your logic of being one state away from the Atlantic Coast doesn't work either because your are one state away from the border of Nebraska, which is midwest and arguably west because the tree line goes through Nebraska. Just face it, you're in the middle. And the midwest term comes from a long time ago when KY was considered the west (as mentioned by someone earlier). As evidenced by the various map groupings and opinions, you are not clearly anything. This is the coolest local section on tech so deal with it.
