I'm in Texas right now.....77 and humid

But I drove here and I left last thurs. night durring the first storm. It took me FIVE hours just to make it to champaign from I-355!! There were cars in ditches, semi trucks too even one tipped over and to top it off I even spotted a state highway plow truck stuck in a ditch! I think my top speed on the way to champaign was 35-40 mph.... WORST DRIVE EVER!!!!
so I stopped off in Champaign for the night and left early friday morning...still was a lot of snow on the highways all the way until the siu area then the roads cleared...

bottom line: a 13 hours trip to Texas took me 18 hours!

And I plan to leave here to come back home wed. night and I hear chicago-area is getting another storm.....GREAT

10 hours worth of plowing the other night.

Now we're getting 3-5" throughout tonight with alot of wind...Which means I'll be out all night keeping up with the storm and then cleaning up all the drifting snow in the morning. That's a good 12-15 hours of cruising around in leather seats/heat along with Dance Factory and 97.1. woo woo

Seeing as how you live in Joliet, I'm not surprised.

I'm done with this ****. I drove through 40 miles of the **** last Friday to get to work. If it's anything like that tomorrow morning, they're going to have to live without me this time.

True. I've got a good $1500 coming if we get snow like we should through this weekend. Any more snow after that and I could end up towards 2 grand.

That along with my car hopefully being sold this weekend means my new setup should be out by this summer.

It's just a slushy mess on the north side of Chicago right now. I'm staying home today, Gurnee is looking at 8-14" still, and I don't feel like staying up there all night, or dealing with a 5 hour drive home tonight.

Anyway I've still got 22 vacation days left.
