Skys cleared up and weather.com predicts no rain for the rest of the night. If it stays this way, I'll be there! Look for a black Z with black ZR-1s, stop by or park by me and say hi. 
BTW, for those who don't know, it's the McD's right by Gurnee Mills.. near the intersection of Grand Ave. and Hunt Club Rd.

Nice meeting you guys too. The exhaust was taken care of this morning. Ended up going true duals dumped before the axle with no H or X pipe (didn't have enough cash), but that can always be added later.. it's quieter than open headers, but sounds very nice at WOT. I am very happy with it.

Anybody ever go to Strats? I stopped by last night and it was insane. At least 200 cars. Sure, a lot of slow stuff, but a lot of nice stuff too. Good amount of f-bods, vettes, couple classics, mustangs, then some decent foreign cars (Evos, STis)
I might head out there again tonight since it should be pretty nice out. If anyone wants to cruise, post up.
Also, tomorrow at Great Lakes Drag, there will be a huge car show thrown by some Corvette club. It's $10, $5 goes to GLD, $5 goes to the car show.
Also, for half price, you can run the track as many times as you want/can. $20.
Anyone thinking about going? I'm probably not going to run, but I'd like to go be in the show and watch some fast cars on the strip.

Haha yea I remember seeing you post too. You put up a few pictures of your purple Z one time and that Z is hard to forget.
I had to get rid of the Wrangler for the Z though, only have the funds for one vehicle. I'll get into a XJ some day though and build it up.

I work in Gurnee. I DD my '02 Z, it's pewter with silver ZR1s. I work around the Grand Ave/Tri-State Parkway area.
My group used to meet up at Photo's in Mt. Prospect every Saturday. We still go there sometimes, but rarely anyone shows up but us.

You guys should come out to Gurnee McDonalds tomorrow evening. Last week was a great turnout for classics and new muscle. Tomorrow's weather is looking good so it outta' be a good turnout again.
i usually dont drive the camaro to work, so i get home around 6.....by the time i would get to gurnee, guys would be leaving....
.....not too many car shows this weekend, hernia surgery last week...ugh
