I'm from Fremont but living in Lincoln.
I was there when Parish put down the 1000 hp on the dyno. Thing sounds like an airplane. They have a Fairmont now with a motor that is basically the same as the truck's.

Hartington/Lincoln here! Don't have an LS yet but its a dream. Got an 86 Monte that hasnt been to the track since I put the .030 over 350 in yet. Oh and I'm in Omaha daily and wouldnt mind meeting up with a stock LS1 F-body. I'll get my *** handed to me but it'll be good motivation!

in my truck my best was 10.08 in st louis. in kearney i ran 10.11 so pretty close.
in the fairmont our first trip ever to a 1/4 mile track we ran a 9.96 in 100deg heat in kearney. best run ever was 9.49 but that was after a 100 or so runs over a year to figure things out and it was 45deg that day, that was at kcir.
dont bag on your track too bad. it has been good to us. lots of nice people there too.

Thats awsome that you guys ran so good there, most people that I talk to have different results. The main thing I dont like is that you got to drive on gravel that mile to get to it. And some times the overall experence seems hit or miss. Alot of times in the past two years ive set there wondering if any of them have ever put on a drag race before.

Is there a place to get a dyno tune around Kearney? When i get my cam and heads installed i need to get a dyno tune done and would like to see what it runs!
I was gonna go to Fort Collins Colorado to get it tuned cuz it was the closest 3.5 hours. But I would rather go to Kearney, its about 3.5 hours away also but looking for a place to get a dyno tune around there.

western nebraska checking in!!!. im from scottsbluff, nebraska, and a new owner of a 98 ws6. in high school i had a 95 LT1 ta, few weeks ago stumbled upon this one. i cant say its the fastest (definately know its not!) but it beats the ole' LT1 i had. but its not faster than my glh omni (weird?)
but anyways just got the car a few weeks ago and I'm liking the LS1 so far.
