shipping a car anybody buy a car and have it shipped to your house? i'm just wondering how everyones experiences have been with doing this on here. Im looking to buy a car, the only problem is its in louisiana. thanks

There are some good shippers out there. I had a 2000 ss camaro shipped from st Louis to Indiana for about 400 dollars enclosed trailer and all, guaranteed. make sure they have insurance on the load. don't let them con you about your insurance on your car. have pictures taken before and after to protect you in case something does happen. good shippers ship with no problems..
i may be wrong but usually they only ship to a business...at least that's what i've been told. i've had a total of 4 cars shipped to me and the only problem i've had is one of the trucks broke down so it was delayed 2 days. the cars stayed on the enclosed trailor until the new truck picked them up so i was okay with that

I had both my cars shipped. The other one came from NC before LSX Transport, and it is really a very streamlined business. Very easy to deal with and that's without a connection. But Sean should be able to take care of it for you no problem.
