Chicago Area Air Team Rules??
Chicago Area Air Team Rules?? Ok, here is the deal. I have a 95 z28. I am living in CA right now because of the Marines. I am going to be coming back to the area for recruiting (either DeKalb - I know not quite Chicago or the suburbs) in the next year or two. I have kept the car with IL plates and registration. I have been out of IL for about 4.5 years, and I think the rules have changed. I am looking at doing TD on my car. The thing is that I might end up having to keep it legal for emissions out there. What are the rules? As long as I have cats on each side, I should be good, right? In CA, they want it to be in the stock position to pass a sight test. The gear I am looking at putting on it will keep it emissions legal, even for CA, but will not pass CA sight test. What are Airteam's rules out there right now? Any help would be appriciated.
When did that go down? Are there any IDOT or IL DMV documents I can look up? I just want them to be able to show them when I am registering my car so I can tell IL to kiss my @$$ when I get back if they try and sniff my car. I am just about to get custom true dual put on there, and I do not want to have to cut into my new system to put cats on there because of some loophole that they could force me to do it, or just because the person that happens to be doing my paperwork is ignorant. I find stupid people shut up a lot faster and can't affect you as much when you have thier own documents telling them that they are stupid.
