so the chiefs got the bad end of the stick this year getting to go to new england for the opener its gonna be yet another loss for the team unless they get that offense together...but yet i find out today that they have now put one of the best defensive ends in the league on the trade block (jared allen) will the chiefs ever amount to anything???

The chiefs will get it turned around, but it will take a couple years. I don't think they want to trade Jared Allen, but he wants out. So they can keep him this year and next year he becomes a free agent and leaves for the best offer leaving the chiefs with nothing to show for it. Or they can trade him now and at least get something out of him. It sucks when you're going to pay a guy 8.8 million for a single season and he still wants to leave you.
