.

Had to go pick up car & drop at chassis shop. When I took truck & trailer back to park in shop,
I ended up getting stuck all night. Way too nasty out to be on the roads. It's been pretty bad again this morning.
RT 66 area got hammered bad. Good thing they built a Jewel near the shop or I would starve.

Holly ****. I live in Bloomigdale and my condo association looks like a tornado hit here. Trees down everywhere. On top of roof, cars, streets, you name it! By far the worst I have seen in a long time. Hope everyone is ok. Vince

hell yeah I'm right at lake and addison, lucky my power didn't go out. Just down Lake st. near villa ave were blocks of powerlines on the ground. Lightning was pretty wicked though.

Just walked in from there. Had to pull a tree out of crew chiefs, daughters windshield.
We dropped off a couple of generators for his family to borrow also. It was very bad out where they all live. Still no power.

My folks called me while I was working and told me that the power was out... so I stayed out as long as possible hoping that the power would be back on by the time I got home. When I got back home to Summit, it was about 3am and there was absolutely no lights on in my neighborhood. I parked my Trans Am down the street, and I had decent distance to walk to my house and holy **** was that creepy lol.

A neighborhood with no lights.... 3am so there are no cars on the road.... quiet as hell... and no movement what-so-ever. It felt like the god damn Dawn of the Dead lol. Thought a zombie was gonna pop out haha.

Well it looks like the tornado was very close to where I live. Here is a article in the daily herald. http://search.dailyherald.com/result...20bloomingdale I live very close to the intersections of Bloomingdale RD and Army Trail and also Glenn Ellen and Arm Trail. I was driving home from the shop as it came through. Funny thing is I got off of 355 onto lake and the street lights and stop lights all went out. I thought it was kinda freaky. Here is a link for those of you who live in the area. http://search.dailyherald.com/result...20bloomingdale

Also my wife said that there was tornado warning on the TV however our town was not listed. Also she said that the tornado sirens never went off. Real nice!
