A/C decided to take a dump. Need some help.
A/C decided to take a dump. Need some help. Alright, my A/C has worked flawlessly since i got my camaro 2 years ago. Today, it suddendly decided to take a dump. The compressor works, engages and disengages correctly with no abnormal sounds. What else could be wrong? Does anyone local have an A/C tester I could use, or have you it test and I'd throw you somethin' for your trouble.

How long does the compressor run in its cycle? If its only a 3-5 seconds its prolly low on refrigerant. also make sure your condensor isn't blocked with leaves and all kinds of ****. carefull on just adding cans of refrigerant cause you can have too much. It will cause your evaporater to freeze up if ran long enough.
you need to hook it up to high and low side guage before dumping refrigerant in blindly. if its full already you'll wish you didn't do that.
costs 50 bucks at autozone for a set of high/low guages with filling hoses, etc. i have one.
