The first 100' or so of the track was good, but after that it wasn't that great. I got a new best in the 60' though, 1.263 but after that the traction wasn't there. I got down the track, but the times were about a tenth and 1/2 slower than what I have been running last week with the same spray, 150 hp jetting.

Gonna try a larger shot in the next few weeks....

Hey litemup02....

If you don't mind...

What's a good run for you with your mods?

I got a theory you don't need a GIANT cam to put down a good number and mph...

Waddya' think?

Nope just a 200-300hp shot of n2o will get it done.

I wanna see a 300 shot Brian. Your car is rolling out nicely this year glad to see your getting your suspension sorted out.

litemup02 and my setup are identical accept my cam is a little bigger (231/237) and I ran 12.10@114.97 with a 1.699 60' and the car was still bogging a little. I plan on leaving my purse at home the next time I go to the track and launching at 5500-6000 and hopefully it will break into the 11s.

BTW it might be a little bit before I get back to the track. I think I broke my P.O.S. Tru Trac on my last pass. What do you think about a Summer daily driver with a spool in it?

that sucks...

spool doesn't bother me, but I do feel it beats up the poly/poly bushings in the suspension.

Wattsamatta with using a 300 shot?

We're gonna be using more than that as soon as we can keep it from going into OD!

That's just warming up--- and besides--- how the hell else you gonna get a 4500lb. car down the track RESPECTABLY????

Larry-- I couldn't make it to Byron Sat..... I can only go to one show at a time for family's sake.... (You know what I mean) and I went Friday to GLD.

Larry--- maybe you can shed a little light on our problem... This should be a 10 sec. car EASILY but we can't take the motor past 5800rpm or it breaks up BADLY (off spray). We are LOST! Please read the other post and let me know if you have any suggs!

THANKS LARRY!

Tom
PS. the Camaro's a blast!

I'm fine with my bushing getting beat on a little I don't drive the car that much anyways. I just don't want to have to worry about the tru trac anymore. Do you have any reccomendations about what gear to go with. I have 3.89s right now. Should I go to a 4.10-4.30 and if so will that steep of gear be fine going through the traps with a 150shot.

You should still have about 15 mph to play with before you hit the limiter in 4th. So i'd try the hit with the 3.89's. Hope my true-tac lasts...thought they were good Still hav'nt made a pass with some good tires. Best i've made on toyos is a 12.6 with a 2.1 60ft Only launching at 2k spinning

Your right there with me John. You went 12.6 with a 2.1 60' and I went 12.39 with a 2.0 60' so we should be neck and neck. I want a lane next to ya next time we go to the track.
